The Story Behind Smiling Hearts
Smiling Hearts was created from a very personal journey—my journey as a mother to a son born with Williams Syndrome. This rare genetic condition will always be close to my heart, shaping my experience as a parent in countless ways, bringing both immense joy and unique challenges.
Over the past 15 years, I’ve also felt the loneliness that comes when others don’t fully understand what it means to raise a child with disabilities. That sense of isolation inspired me to create something different: a community where families never have to feel alone.
What started as a vision to support families like mine has grown into a mission that embraces all families of children with disabilities, creating a safe, welcoming space filled with compassion and connection.
